Braeden's First week of school in North Royalton

Braeden couldn't have been more excited about his first day of school. We ordered him a cool new backpack months ago, and it took until the day before school started to arrive. We were really sweatin it. It came and he loved it. It has his monogram on the front.
We had to go outside to wait for the bus at 7:45 even though the bus was not scheduled to pick him up until 8:10. Of course it was late and didn't come until almost 8:30!!! I thought I was going to have to drive him. Riding the bus was the best part of the whole day for him, back in Cuyahoga Falls he had to walk to school and he has never ridden on a school bus.

Braeden had already made a friend on the block who he got to sit with for the ride to school. I am still lucky enough to get hugs and kisses before boarding.

By the end of the week we had figured out what time we needed to wake up everyday and still have time for breakfast and make the bus. Braeden seems to have made some friends in his class, and is still excited about all the cool things in his new school. It has a rock wall in the Cafeteria/Gymnasium. He likes his new teacher, Miss Green, she is young and pretty. He already got some tickets for good behavior and says next week the teacher will start making everyone flip their cards. (red = bad, yellow = warning, green = good) :)
This week we are going to have to tackle commuting from Daddy's house. I did my best to plan for him, but its in his hands now...

Fun at the Pig Roast

Beer Pong, Candy scatter, and giant inflatable waterslide, what more could you ask for at a
pig roast?! It rained all day but cleared up just in time for our arrival, and even after waiting all day for the rain to stop, Braeden couldn't wait to go on the slide. Ten minutes after I made him get dry clothes on for the night he decided to get involved in the water balloon fight and got completely soaked. Despite my best planning and packing efforts, he spent most of the night wet and shirtless. I was an innocent victim of the water balloons too, I took a stray balloon to the back. Not fun. The food was amazing as always, we could have eaten all night, which was not a problem for me!! All in all it was great fun. By the time we got home Braeden was delirious from exhaustion (and probably sugar overload) and cried himself to sleep. :)

keepin up

Went to see G-Force in 3D yesterday. I'll admit until a few weeks ago I had never seen a 3D movie. I took Braeden to see Ice Age The Meltdown in 3D in July. It was sooo cool. I can't believe what they can do these days. We both liked it sooo much its going to be our new thing to do together. Scott had to get in on the action too, so he took us both yesterday on his day off. It was a pretty funny movie. Braeden really likes the funny glasses, and he keeps them everytime.
