Baby Shower 9/27

My wonderful family gave me a baby shower on September 27th. It

was at Demetrios in Parma. The place is an old family favorite around here and serves German and Hungarian comfort foods.

Lots of friends and family came and I felt truly blessed. Baby showers are way more fun than Christmas!! I've waited a LONG time to get to play in all the pink girlie stuff and I loved every minute of it!!

The baby got just about everything she could possibly need.

catching up

We have have had a busy fun fall. We had to make sure we squeezed in an Indians game. Braeden just loves them. We went on blanket giveaway day and Braeden even got a game ball.

Spent some time at Papa's new house and Braeden got yet another lesson in tractor/lawn maintenance. He really can't wait till he can do it by himself.

Scott got some of his Dad's Browns season tickets this year. I will only go to the games while its warm, so this will probably be my one and only game this year. The Browns lost of course but it was still nice to spend some time with my hubby. We're trying to squeeze in as much as we can before baby comes.
We've also hit the movies, a few great restaurants and a Cavs game.

our housewarming and Scott's Birthday.

We had our housewarming and birthday for Scott this weekend. I spent 3 days cleaning and decorating!! my house looked great!! The best part of having company is getting the house cleaned. The worst part is cleaning it again after they all leave... :)
There was more food than we could eat, and we had absolutely a perfect day weather wise.

I insisted that photos be taken of me pregnant since there are like none... and I just love these. This is me and Scott's cousin Karen.
Scott had homemade chocolate cupcakes on his actual birthday, and this cake for the party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTTY!!

The boys always play cards. Matt was the big winner this time!
Ladies chattin it up and drinkin wine. Of course Jacqui always workin on that Blackberry.

Braeden had the full attention of all of Scott's friends all day. They played basketball, baseball, and cornhole. At the end of the night he talked them into UNO.

We had Dennis' fresh popped movie popcorn by the fire. YUM!!!
I could barely move by the end of the night and had to spend most of Monday on the couch. I really couldn't even get up. We ate left overs all day. (Grandma's cucumber salad, blueberry jello salad, pasta salad and icecream. This poor baby ;) )Mmmm.

Braeden's First week of school in North Royalton

Braeden couldn't have been more excited about his first day of school. We ordered him a cool new backpack months ago, and it took until the day before school started to arrive. We were really sweatin it. It came and he loved it. It has his monogram on the front.
We had to go outside to wait for the bus at 7:45 even though the bus was not scheduled to pick him up until 8:10. Of course it was late and didn't come until almost 8:30!!! I thought I was going to have to drive him. Riding the bus was the best part of the whole day for him, back in Cuyahoga Falls he had to walk to school and he has never ridden on a school bus.

Braeden had already made a friend on the block who he got to sit with for the ride to school. I am still lucky enough to get hugs and kisses before boarding.

By the end of the week we had figured out what time we needed to wake up everyday and still have time for breakfast and make the bus. Braeden seems to have made some friends in his class, and is still excited about all the cool things in his new school. It has a rock wall in the Cafeteria/Gymnasium. He likes his new teacher, Miss Green, she is young and pretty. He already got some tickets for good behavior and says next week the teacher will start making everyone flip their cards. (red = bad, yellow = warning, green = good) :)
This week we are going to have to tackle commuting from Daddy's house. I did my best to plan for him, but its in his hands now...

Fun at the Pig Roast

Beer Pong, Candy scatter, and giant inflatable waterslide, what more could you ask for at a
pig roast?! It rained all day but cleared up just in time for our arrival, and even after waiting all day for the rain to stop, Braeden couldn't wait to go on the slide. Ten minutes after I made him get dry clothes on for the night he decided to get involved in the water balloon fight and got completely soaked. Despite my best planning and packing efforts, he spent most of the night wet and shirtless. I was an innocent victim of the water balloons too, I took a stray balloon to the back. Not fun. The food was amazing as always, we could have eaten all night, which was not a problem for me!! All in all it was great fun. By the time we got home Braeden was delirious from exhaustion (and probably sugar overload) and cried himself to sleep. :)

keepin up

Went to see G-Force in 3D yesterday. I'll admit until a few weeks ago I had never seen a 3D movie. I took Braeden to see Ice Age The Meltdown in 3D in July. It was sooo cool. I can't believe what they can do these days. We both liked it sooo much its going to be our new thing to do together. Scott had to get in on the action too, so he took us both yesterday on his day off. It was a pretty funny movie. Braeden really likes the funny glasses, and he keeps them everytime.

Unkies Visit

Here are some pics from our trip to the Cleveland Zoo today. One of these kangaroos had a baby in her pouch just like me.
tickle tickle.

I had to make threats to get a real smile. there are about 5 shots of the stretchy forced smile.

A red head family shot. yes I am huge, and yes we are a very short family.

I couldn't get over the size of this guys chin. Can you imagine carrying that around all day??

The cardinal that came and sat with us at lunch. (I swear I couldn't make this stuff up)

The zoo was great and we had nice weather all day. I wish I had seen more animals, but I had a dizzy spell that turned into a scene and ended me up in the first aid room for 30 mins. (they really need more benches in that place) We didn't know the place closed at 5 and still think thats dumb, or we would have gotten there sooner.
Pics of Braeden driving the riding mower with Papa. He would have stayed on it all day if we let him. Had a cookout at Grandma and Grandpa Zitella's (as Braeden calls them the Tells) with Mom, Uncle and some of their cousins. It rained ALL day and we sat in the garage and played old school brain teaser games(the ones with the golf tees like at cracker barrel) and GO FISH.

We went to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesday. They had this MJ guitar thing and a sad excuse for a Michael Jackson Memorial wall. (4 pictures and some misc. quotes from other celebrities written on the wall). This place still just doesn't do it for me.

I've done more this week than I have in a year. What a good time!!
